As exceptional produce is abundant in the area, so the a la carte menu is brimming with beautiful classic dishes treated to a modern, elegant twist and have won 2AA Rosettes in recognition of this.
The dining area of this renowned inn is traditional and unique in its design, creating a homely atmosphere for guests to enjoy, with exposed brick and an open fireplace.
They are looking for a Head Chef with at least a 1AA Rosette background and someone who shares the owners’ passion for great British cuisine and the finest local ingredients and someone who will strive for more, as the property is pushing for even more accolades.
The role would also suit a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef from a similar background looking for their first step up to a Head Chef role.
As Head Chef you will:
- Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen
- Have solid man management and kitchen management skills are essential along with a stable background
- Be a creative and talented Chef with exceptionally high standards who can lead their team by example and inspire them
- Have the passion and ability to maintain an exceptional standard of cuisine and the right candidate will ideally be experienced in good fresh food ideally up to a 1AA Rosette standard
