As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the pub, leading the team and ensuring the operation delivers consistently high standards of food, service, and hospitality.
The ideal candidate will have previous management experience within a food-led pub, gastro pub, inn, restaurant, or hotel environment.
You will be a hands-on and commercially minded manager with excellent people skills, a strong eye for standards, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The ability to lead a small team and make confident decisions independently is essential.
As General Manager you will:
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the pub
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team
- Drive standards across food, service, and the customer experience
- Oversee the bar and accommodation operation
- Manage staffing, rotas, stock, and operational administration
- Monitor commercial performance and key business targets
- Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
- Work closely with the wider group while maintaining autonomy at site level
