Junior Sous Chef – County Durham – Luxury Hotel – 4 Day Week

A Junior Sous Chef is required for a stunning luxury spa hotel set within breathtaking coastal surroundings in County Durham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a professional kitchen team within a unique and ambitious dining concept.

 

The kitchen is modern, well-equipped and run by an experienced senior team who are passionate about maintaining exceptional standards while supporting the development of their brigade.

 

As Junior Sous Chef you will:

 

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Assist in leading the brigade during service and ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation and organisation
  • Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen management
  • Help train and develop junior chefs within the team
  • Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained

 

Due to the location and shift patterns, candidates must have access to their own transport.

I couldn't just take Manchester's Finest at their word regarding JOJI had to find out for myself. So that's what I did the other Saturday. On my bill. Eating raw fish and pretending that I can use chopsticks 🥢 It was incredible. Sublime. So fresh. Such amazing ingredients, treated with expertise and care.
