A Head Chef is required in a beautiful part of East Sussex for this stunning luxury hotel.

This role requires candidates to have a valid UK work visa or settled status – no sponsorship is provided.

Set in an excellent location, this gorgeous property is set in a charming village and is steeped in history; with a beautiful meeting of old and new.

They serve beautiful, seasonal menus focused on locally sourced fresh ingredients in their creation of Modern British and European Cuisine, and are looking for a Head Chef who has experience in a similar environment.

You will be an enthusiastic Head Chef to join and lead the team and ensure the kitchen is running to an extremely high standard.

As Head Chef you will:

• Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a professional kitchen and will have a background in running fresh food establishments and making the most of seasonal ingredients
• Be managing and motivating your team, ensuring that ongoing training and development is offered therefore solid man management and kitchen management skills are essential, in order to run this operation efficiently and in line with budget and GP
• Be a creative and talented chef with exceptionally high standards who can lead their team by example and inspire them
• Have the passion and ability to maintain an exceptional standard of cuisine and the right candidate will ideally be experienced in good fresh food
