General Manager – Michelin Star Country Inn – North West – £50 to £60k – Temp Live in

A General Manager is required in the North West of England for this fantastic boutique style country inn.

 

Unfortunately, this role does not offer sponsorship, and we can only accept applications from candidates with the right to work in the UK.

 

Set in a gorgeous area, the establishment has a cosy welcoming feel with open fires and a plush and modern interior.

 

You must have experience running similar standard of property and without similar experience, your application unfortunately can’t be considered.

 

Along with jaw-dropping views of surrounding countryside, it’s a real destination for guests to dine on exceptional and indulgent, Modern British Cuisine.

The renowned Head Chef has a fantastic background and; using only the finest local produce available in the area, puts together unique, Modern British menus.

 

As an independently owned establishment, with a tight-knit and long serving workforce, you will be leading a friendly and personable team, and as such will need to have a similar hands-on but also friendly attitude.

 

You will be a General Manager who is approachable but with extremely high standards, and be able to build and maintain relationships with both customers and your staff.

 

The role is very hands on with it being a more intimate establishment and they want a General Manager who will treat the place as their own and have real pride in where they work.

 

As General Manager you will:

 

  • Have a solid restaurant background of working within high level establishments with a minimum of a 2AA Rosette background
  • Have excellent knowledge of food and wine and be a real people person, able to build up good relationships with regular clientele
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and have a passion for the industry
  • Be a hands-on restaurant manager, committed to providing an excellent level of customer service
  • Be responsible for ensuring a smooth-running operation and leading your team by example at all times
