Sous Chef – Bristol – Upmarket Fine Dining Restaurant

A talented Sous Chef is required for this stylish, contemporary fine dining restaurant set in one of Bristol’s most vibrant and sought-after locations.

Housed within an elegant and characterful building, the restaurant offers a refined yet relaxed dining experience, attracting a discerning local and destination-led clientele.

 

The kitchen champions seasonal, locally sourced produce, delivering beautifully executed à la carte menus that evolve throughout the year and showcase modern British and European influences.

 

This is a kitchen where quality, balance and precision are key — plates are thoughtful rather than overworked, flavours are clean and confident, and standards are upheld at every service.

The Head Chef leads the brigade with a calm, supportive and professional approach, fostering an environment where chefs are encouraged to grow, contribute ideas and take pride in their work.

 

They are now looking for a Sous Chef who can be a strong presence in the kitchen and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the operation.

 

As Sous Chef you will:

 

  • Come from a strong fresh food background, ideally within quality-led kitchens
  • Support the Head Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen
  • Help train, develop and motivate junior members of the brigade
  • Maintain high standards of consistency, presentation and flavour
  • Bring passion, creativity and a positive, hands-on attitude to every service

 

This role would suit an ambitious Sous Chef looking to step into a well-run, high-quality kitchen where their skills will be valued, developed and rewarded.
