Sous Chef – Halifax, West Yorkshire – Chic Mediterranean Restaurant

A Sous Chef is required for this independently run restaurant in the town of Halifax.

Set within a grand building, the interior is minimalistic in its design, with exposed brick and classic panelling on the walls, accompanied by an open kitchen to create a buzzing, vibrant atmosphere.

They are looking for a Sous Chef to join the talented kitchen brigade and assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of service.

As Sous Chef you will:

  • Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen where you will manage and motivate your team
  • Ensure ongoing training is offered to all members to guarantee the quality and consistency of the food
  • Have solid man management and kitchen management skills in order to run this operation efficiently
  • Have experience in high level establishments
  • Be a creative and talented chef with exceptionally high standards who can lead their team by example and inspire them
  • Have the passion and ability to maintain an exceptional standard of cuisine
