- £40,000 salary, increasing to £42,000 upon successful completion of probation

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef in leading the kitchen operation, helping to deliver consistently high standards while supporting and developing the brigade.
This is a hands-on role that would suit an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step within a quality fresh food operation.
You will be passionate about seasonal ingredients, possess excellent organisational skills, and thrive in a busy professional kitchen where teamwork and attention to detail are key.
As Sous Chef you will:
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen
- Lead and motivate the brigade during service
- Maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
- Train and mentor junior chefs
- Manage stock control and minimise wastage
- Ensure food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
