We’re recruiting a Hotel Porter to join the front-of-house team at an impressive 5 Star country house hotel in Wiltshire, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a luxury hospitality environment where delivering an exceptional guest experience is at the heart of everything.
Shifts are excellent and will be 7am to 3pm, 9/10am to 5/6pm and then 2/3pm to 10/11pm and are there mostly day day.

As Hotel Porter, you’ll be a key member of the front-of-house team, helping guests throughout their stay and ensuring everything runs smoothly from arrival to departure.
Working on a rota basis, shifts will include early, middle and late patterns, giving you experience across different aspects of the hotel’s operation.
As Hotel Porter you will:
- Welcome guests on arrival and assist with luggage
- Escort guests to their bedrooms and introduce them to the hotel’s facilities
- Provide a friendly and professional concierge service
- Assist guests with enquiries, requests and local information
- Help arrange taxis and support guest transport requirements
- Maintain the appearance of the entrance, reception and other guest-facing areas
- Work closely with Reception and the wider front-of-house team
- Deliver attentive, personalised service throughout the guest journey
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, although a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for guest service are just as important.
You’ll be approachable, well presented and confident communicating with guests, with a willingness to go the extra mile to make their experience memorable. A full driving licence would also be beneficial.
