As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, leading from the front while ensuring exceptional standards are maintained throughout all areas of the operation.
You will work closely with the ownership and senior leadership team to continue building the pub’s reputation, drive commercial performance, and create an environment where both guests and staff thrive.
As General Manager you will:
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operation
- Lead, inspire, and develop the front and back of house teams
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained at all times
- Drive revenue, profitability, and overall business performance
- Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and training
- Monitor budgets, costs, and key business metrics
- Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and compliance throughout the business
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless guest experience
The ideal candidate will have a proven background within quality gastro pubs, restaurants, or hospitality operations and possess strong leadership, commercial awareness, and people management skills.
You will be a visible presence within the business, passionate about hospitality, and committed to delivering memorable guest experiences while developing a successful and motivated team.
