The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality fresh food kitchens, with experience in award-winning gastropubs or restaurants highly advantageous.
You will be a confident and organised chef who thrives in a busy kitchen and shares a genuine passion for seasonal ingredients and modern British cooking.
As Senior Sous Chef you will:
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead the brigade during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation
- Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
- Train and mentor junior chefs within the brigade
- Help manage stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
- Ensure exceptional hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
