Sous Chef – 3AA Rosettes – Jersey

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a passionate Sous Chef to join a luxury hotel located on the beautiful island of Jersey.

This property is home to an award-winning restaurant that proudly holds 3AA Rosettes, showcasing some of the finest dining in the Channel Islands.

 

You will be working alongside a fantastic Head Chef – a genuinely talented and supportive leader who has built a reputation for both his food and his positive, nurturing kitchen culture.

The restaurant focuses on the best seasonal produce, with menus that celebrate the island’s outstanding local ingredients, from freshly caught seafood to the finest farmed and foraged produce.

 

As Sous Chef, you will be instrumental in helping lead a skilled brigade, maintaining the restaurant’s high standards, and ensuring consistency across all aspects of the kitchen.

 

You will have the chance to contribute creatively to menus while also playing a vital role in mentoring and developing junior chefs.

 

This role is perfect for a Sous Chef with a background in fine dining who thrives in a professional yet friendly environment and wants to be part of a team producing food at the very highest level.

 

As Sous Chef, you will:

 

  • Work under a talented Head Chef within a professional kitchen
  • Be working across all sections as required and as Sous Chef your role will be to liaise closely with the Head Chef and provide a link to the other chefs in the brigade, ensuring everyone is working to an exceptional standard at all times
  • Be expected to have good creative flair and a real passion for your work
  • Working within an experienced and very busy brigade
