A Sous Chef is required on the beautiful island of Jersey for this exceptional hotel and restaurant.
The award-winning restaurant is renowned for its excellent cuisine using the finest local, seasonal produce.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with a talented Head Chef and a company that is well known for nurturing and developing their team, with the Head Chef working his way up from a junior position.
They are looking for a Sous Chef who is passionate and talented, and well experienced in leading a team in the absence of their head chef; able to oversee key aspects such as health and safety.
As Sous Chef you will:
- Be innovative and committed with a passion for excellent food, ingredients and service
- Be required to maintain high quality and consistency with a professional “can do” attitude
- Be looking to work within a kitchen where the highest level of food is produced
- Be effectively managing and running the kitchen alongside the current Head Chef, whilst also ensuring that the kitchen meets all food safety and hygiene standards
