A Sous Chef / Head Chef is required in Bury, Greater Manchester for this lovely, award-winning restaurant serving modern British cuisine focusing on the finest, local ingredients.
You will work under an Executive Head Chef as a Sous Chef, looking to step up into a Head Chef role.
The restaurant is a charming combination of modern and traditional with a chic interior perfectly designed for customers to dine on the wonderful modern British menus.
They are looking for a Sous Chef or Head Chef who has a stable background working with fresh produce to come in and assist in leading the brigade.
The kitchen is modern and excellently equipped and provides the perfect outlet for you to continue to hone your skills within a professional environment.
As Sous Chef / Head Chef you will:
- Be innovative and committed with a passion for excellent food, ingredients and service
- Be required to maintain high quality and consistency with a professional “can do” attitude
- Have a background working within high level establishments
- Be looking to work within a kitchen where the highest level of food is produced
- Be managing and running the kitchen alongside the current Executive Head Chef
You will have held a similar position in a comparable establishment and have solid leadership and training/mentoring qualities, a strong grasp of kitchen management and be an excellent team player.
