The hotel is home to 40 plus individually decorated bedrooms, designed to a very high standard and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment.
The property has a casual fine dining restaurant that serves classic British dishes using only locally sourced produce.
The hotel is also popular with weddings and other private functions due to its excellent facilities and great location, and as such the ideal candidate will have banqueting experience or experience in a high-volume kitchen that still focuses on high quality.
They are looking for a Sous Chef with a strong background to join the talented kitchen team and help to ensure that service runs smoothly while working closely with the talented Head Chef who has a wealth of experience.
As Sous Chef you will:
- Assist in the day to day running of the kitchen
- Be innovative and committed
- Have a passion for excellent food, ingredients and service
- Be required to maintain high quality and consistency with a professional “can do“ attitude
- Have a background working within fresh food kitchens and ideally banqueting or high-volume kitchens
