A Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef is required in Ipswich, Suffolk for this award-winning restaurant.
They are looking for a Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef with experience of working within a high level busy professional kitchen and someone who has worked with fresh food, who is creative and passionate in their cooking.
The highly skilled kitchen brigade is led by an excellent Head Chef and serves up to 50 covers per service with a modern British menu, with all ingredients sourced within the area from the best local suppliers.
The menu is seasonal and there is also a specials board which changes daily depending on what the suppliers have in fresh on that day so you will gain more knowledge with frequently changing menus.
As Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef you will:
- Be innovative and committed with a passion for excellent food, ingredients and service
- Be required to maintain high quality and consistency with a professional “can do “attitude
- Have a background working within high level establishments
- Be looking to work within a kitchen where the highest level of food is produced
- Be managing and running the kitchen alongside the current Head Chef
