An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Pastry Chef in the beautiful area of Northamptonshire.
The restaurant is spacious and strikingly modern in design and has won 2AA Rosettes for its fine dining menu, that sources local and regional produce to create modern British dishes with an exciting and unique twist.
The brand new and excellently equipped kitchen will be headed up by a fantastic Head Chef, who is looking to drive the team forward as they work toward further achievements, designing and creating fantastic a la carte and tasting menus.
They are now looking for a Head Pastry Chef to join their professional and talented brigade and support them as they push for further accolades.
As Head Pastry Chef you will:
- Be responsible for the pastry section in all kitchens within this amazing establishment
- Produce all manner of pastries and desserts and have an elegant and clean style to produce intricate and exquisite desserts
- Manage a team of Pastry Chefs
- Be responsible for ensuring standards are maintained whilst training and motivating junior members of your team
You will have held a similar position in a comparable establishment and have solid leadership and training/mentoring qualities, a strong grasp of kitchen management and be an excellent team player.
